Proposed new section 3397 Heat Illness Prevention in Indoor Correctional and Detention Facilities

The Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) has posted a discussion draft of a proposed Title 8 regulation to protect indoor workers in correctional and detention facilities from heat illnesses. Interested persons are invited to submit written comments on the draft. Please submit your comments to the Cal/OSHA Research and Standards Unit at RS@dir.ca.gov.

The Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) will convene an advisory meeting to provide input on Cal/OSHA discussion draft to protect indoor workers in correctional and detention facilities from heat illnesses.
