Based on comments received at the advisory meeting on February 8, 2018, revisions have been made to the draft standalone indoor standard. Interested parties are invited to submit comments on this revised version instead of the version discussed on February 8, 2018.  Please submit your comments by Friday, March 1, 2018, to rs@dir.ca.gov

A 3rd advisory meeting will be held in Oakland, CA. As required by Labor Code Section 6720 (enacted in 2016 by Senate Bill 1167), the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is convening an advisory meeting to develop a proposed regulation for minimizing heat-related illness among workers in indoor places of employment.

At this advisory meeting, stakeholders and the public will have an opportunity to provide input on a revised discussion draft developed in consideration of the comments received on the previous discussion draft. A meeting agenda and additional meeting documents are provided below.

A 2nd advisory meeting was held in southern California in Ontario, CA. As required by Labor Code Section 6720 (enacted in 2016 by Senate Bill 1167), the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) is convening an advisory meeting to develop a proposed regulation for minimizing heat-related illness among workers in indoor places of employment.
