2024 Workers' Memorial Day Events

Every April 28, the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Cal/OSHA, and the Nation commemorate Workers' Memorial Day. It's a day and time to honor those who perished while working and acknowledge the profound impact of these losses on families, colleagues, and communities. California has a rich history of pioneering regulations that exceed federal mandates, and on this day, we underscore our unwavering dedication to ensuring workers are protected on-the-job and go home safely to their families.

On April 28 and 29, 2024, Cal/OSHA will host events in collaboration with its partners at Federal OSHA, the District Council of Iron Workers, the Hispanic Arborists Association, and Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park to commemorate fallen workers.
