Sacramento – The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) joined in celebration of the 16th annual Labor Rights Week. This year DIR representatives attended numerous events at Mexican Consulates across the state, including both in-person and virtual sessions.

Labor Rights Week is a yearly event that celebrates the strength of workers and the importance of labor protections. This event was held from August 26 to August 30 and helps familiarize workers with their rights on the job and the safety measures employers are required to provide.
