National Apprenticeships Week: California’s Inclusive Healthcare Apprenticeships

In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week 2022, DAS hosted a webinar where representatives from Kaiser Permanente, Dignity Health, and two dental offices spoke about their experience employing apprentices and how apprenticeship is a critical component of their talent solution. We also heard from an inclusive pre-apprenticeship program that lead into EMT and Paramedic apprenticeships with the California Firefighter Joint Apprenticeship Committee. California Labor Secretary Natalie Palugyai kicked off the event, and Deputy Chief of the Division of Apprenticeship Standards Adele Burnes moderated the conversation with:
