CAC Training Funds Information Session

The California Apprenticeship Council Training Funds have expanded from $3 million to $20 million annually. To manage this significant funding increase, we are moving to an electronic application and reimbursement process through the California Outreach Rapid Deployment (CORD) platform. This information session will guide you through the new electronic process and ensure your program is ready to submit their application.
What You'll Learn

  • How to create and log into your profile on the CORD platform.
  • How to navigate through CORD and create your CAC Training Funds application.
  • How to complete your application and upload documents.

Who Should Attend
This webinar is for registered building and construction trade apprenticeship programs that contribute to and seek reimbursement from the CAC Training Funds, including:

  • Program Administrative Staff
  • Apprenticeship Coordinators
  • Business Agents
  • Financial staff responsible for grant applications
  • Anyone involved in your program's Training Funds reimbursement process

In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week 2022, DAS hosted a webinar where representatives from Kaiser Permanente, Dignity Health, and two dental offices spoke about their experience employing apprentices and how apprenticeship is a critical component of their talent solution.

Inclusive 21st Century Apprenticeships Launch for National Apprenticeship Week

Hosted by DAS for the seventh annual National Apprenticeship Week, this virtual event honored women in apprenticeship. Adele Burnes, DAS Deputy Chief, moderated a conversation discussing how California is shaping inclusive 21st century apprenticeships.
