Apprenticeship Innovation Funding – Extended Application Deadline!

Sacramento - The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and its Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) have announced that the deadline for the second round of Apprenticeship Innovation Funding (AIF) application period has been extended by an additional month! The State has $75 million in funding available for FY 2023-2024 for AIF. This extension is an excellent opportunity for eligible apprenticeship programs to refine and submit their applications. Whether you are just starting your AIF application or putting the final touches, don’t miss the chance to secure AIF funding to sustain and scale your apprenticeship programs and train apprentices who will be tomorrow’s workforce innovators. AIF is non-competitive funding, meaning all eligible apprenticeship programs that submit their AIF applications will receive funding. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so there is no need to wait for the deadline – submit as soon as you are ready by May 15, 2024.
