The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC), the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) programs are funded by assessing and surcharging employers. The investigation and prosecution of workers' compensation fraud and the willful failure to secure payment of workers' compensation are also funded by an assessment on employers.
DWC case transcript fee
In order to obtain a transcript of testimony or other proceedings before the WCAB, a deposit fee based on the number of paper pages, as estimated by the division, must be paid by the requesting party in advance.
The electronic data exchange system (EDEX) allows approved subscribers and their clients to electronically exchange data with the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. Charges for these services are invoiced quarterly.
