When you have accumulated 4,800 hrs of on-the-job-experience
and have completed 480 hours of related and supplemental instruction.
When you pass the exam you may work as an electrician
If you have completed 4,800 of on-the-job-experience before you complete the 480 hours of related and supplemental training, and are still enrolled in a qualified school, you may sit for the exam. When you pass the exam you may work as an electrician for a contractor licensed as a Class C-10 contractor and you do not need to complete the 480 hours of instruction.
