Welcome to WCIS-EZ

WCIS-EZ is a set of free web-based data entry forms that can be used to submit workers' compensation data to WCIS. Claims administrators can use WCIS-EZ to fulfill their data reporting requirements under Sections 9700-9704 of Title 8, California Code of Regulations.

WCIS-EZ allows claims administrators to submit data without learning about file formats and Electronic Data Interchange protocols. However, data must be entered manually, so WCIS-EZ is best suited to claims administrators that have a low volume of data to submit.

Claims administrators can also use WCIS-EZ to view and edit previously submitted reports, save incomplete reports for later completion and submission, and view electronic acknowledgements from WCIS. Acknowledgements are generally available 24 hours after data are submitted. Edits built into the WCIS-EZ data entry screens minimize the submission of incomplete or invalid data.

Currently WCIS-EZ supports only Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.x. This browser can be downloaded at no charge from www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/.
