CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY
One-year program that can either prepare students or upgrade working individuals with technician-level skills. Satisfactory completion of the 35-unit program is required for the awarding of the ET certificate.

RECOMMENDED ELECTIVES: Business125; Business 126; computer skills courses in word processing, data base management, spreadsheets; basic electronics. *These courses may also be used to satisfy the A.A. Degree (Option I) General Education Requirements.

ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAM: ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY The ET Associate Degree Program is a 60 unit program which prepares stu dents to enter the workforce at the technician level. Satisfactory completion of the 60 units of required and elective courses, coupled with the school's general education requirements are required for the ET Associate Degree. Students intending to transfer to a bachelor's degree program should see a Golden West College Counselor.

The ET department strongly recommends that students enroll in Chemistry 110 and Biology 120 early in their educational program. these are required courses for certain ET courses and in addition, Chemistry 110 is highly impacted.


  • The Environmental Technology Certificate Program is not offered this semester. The Program may resume next semester.
