A survey of federal, state, and local regulations and codes dealing with hazardous materials. Includes regulations covering transportation, materials and wastes.

Health Effects of Environmental Hazardous Materials HMT 172 (3 units)
Course covers the acute and chronic health effects produced by exposure to chemical, physical and biological agents. Topics include routes of entry, toxic effects, risk assessment and control methods for reducing exposure.
