WCIS California FROI/SROI version 3.1

As a reminder, the California EDI Implementation Guide for First and Subsequent Reports of Injury (FROI/SROI), version 3.1, is scheduled to go live on March 27, 2018.  The last day WCIS will receive FROI/SROI files based on the California version 3.0 requirements will be 12:00 pm on March 23, 2018.  During the transition period between March 23 and March 27, 2018, the WCIS will not accept new FROI/SROI files and will only send acknowledgements for files received prior to 12:00 noon on March 23, 2018.

All FROI/SROI trading partners must submit a trading partner profile form to their WCIS trading partner contact before March 23, 2018 to be registered for version 3.1 reporting.  An SFTP (SSH FTP) user account and password will be provided to each FROI/SROI data sender upon receipt of the profile.  Vendors or service providers that send FROI/SROI data for claims administrators must also send a profile form to WCIS for their company to be registered for SFTP transmission.
