Regional Resource Centers in Northern California, Southern California, and the Central Valley
CHSWC has established WOSHTEP Resource Centers in Northern California at the Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP) at UC Berkeley, in Southern California at the Labor Occupational Safety and Health (LOSH) Program at UCLA, and in the Central Valley at the Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety (WCAHS) at UC Davis.
The Resource Centers support Worker Occupational Safety and Health (WOSH) Specialists and trainers, and also assist small business owners and managers, youth leaders, and anyone needing information about or assistance with workplace health and safety issues. The Centers provide:
- Written materials on occupational health and safety
- Technical and research assistance
- Referrals to state and local health and safety agencies
