The commission would like to thank and acknowledge the project
advisory committee, the production team, and all other individuals and organizations that assisted in this project. The
guidebook was created by UC Berkeley, Institute of Industrial Relations (IIR) and Labor Occupational Health Program
(LOHP), under contract with the Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation.
The guidebook includes workers' compensation legislation that was enacted in 2003 and 2004, and regulations adopted through November 2006. The guidebook will continue to be updated as needed to reflect the latest information.
