Lifting/Lowering

1. Position materials at a height that allows you to work within Your Power Zone

| Use a Lifter | Raise the Worker | Raise or Lower the Work Surface | Tilt the Container |

	Raise the worker so that the container is grasped 30"- 40" from the surface the worker is standing on.

Caution: When using portable steps, stools, catwalks, or other work platforms, follow all manufacturers' recommendations for proper use. Use only equipment appropriate to the weight, size, and shape of the load being handled.
