Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation
Workers' Compensation Medical Issues
Workers' compensation medical issues include treatment protocols, guides and guidelines, integrated care, pharmacy, fee schedules, physician reports, medical access, and quality-of-care measurements. Quality-of-care measurements assess medical outcomes in terms of physical recovery and patient satisfaction. Medical treatment also covers issues of costs to the payer, as well as costs to the system.
