Decisions after reconsideration

The following decisions have been issued by the board members of the Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board and are presented here for information only. All steps have been taken to ensure the validity of these files. However, the printed versions of the decisions remain the official documents. Description and summary information appearing on this page are for the convenience of the reader and NOT considered part of the decision. Decisions of administrative law judges are binding on the parties in the particular matter but do not have precedential value. Only decisions after reconsideration and denials of petitions for reconsideration, which are rendered by the three-member appeals board, have precedential value and may be cited.

Beginning with the cases issued in 2005, for your convenience, a notation of the safety order at issue in the case has been added under the title of the case. The date of issuance has also been added for those cases.
