Public Works And Prevailing Wage Projects Registration (PWC-100) for all Awarding Agencies and Development Proponents

System Maintenance Notice

The project registration system is currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are working on resolving the underlying issues. Until then, the system may intermittently be unresponsive or return errors. Upgrades to the Public Works website services are currently underway. For more details, please see the project announcement here: https://www.dir.ca.gov/Public-Works/Upgrades-to-DIRs-Public-Works-Website-Services.html. Thank you.

Welcome to the PWC 100 form online application page. The PWC 100 form should be completed by the awarding body or development proponent. The completion and the submission of this form fulfills the required public works project award notification as required by Labor Code sec. 1773.3, 1773.35, and 8 Cal. Code Reg. sec. 16451(a).

An awarding body or body awarding the contract means department, board, authority, officer or agent awarding a contract for public work. In most cases the awarding body is a unit of state or local government, such as a city, county, school district, water district, special district, or a state agency. However, in some cases the body awarding the contract may be a private entity that uses public funds for a public works construction project.

A development proponent means the developer who submits an application for streamlined approval and is subject to the requirements of Government Code sections 65852.24, 65912.130, or 65913.4.
