§3087.7. Counterweights.


(a) Whenever counterweights are used to protect persons in the event of failure of the normal counterweight, support counterweights shall be confined in an enclosure to prevent the presence of persons beneath the counterweight, or the arrangement shall provide a means to restrain the failing counterweight.
