Subchapter 11. Car washing and polishing
§13689. Citation for Failure to Register.
The Labor Commissioner may cite an employer and impose a civil fine if, upon inspection
or investigation he or she determines that the employer has failed to register
pursuant to Labor Code Section 2054. The citation may be served personally or
by registered mail in accordance with subdivision (c) of Government Code Section
11505. A citation must be in writing and describe the nature of the violation,
including reference to the statutory provision allegedly violated.
