Article 5. Pleadings
§10420. Setting the Case.
The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, upon the receipt of a Declaration of
Readiness to Proceed, may, in its discretion, set the case for a type of proceeding
other than that requested. The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board may on its
own motion set any case for conference or trial.
