Subchapter 21. Telecommunication Safety Orders
Article 1. Telecommunications
(a) Microwave. Employers shall require that employees do not look into an open waveguide or antenna which is connected to an energized source of microwave radiation.
(b) Fiber Optics. Employers shall require that employees do not look:
(1) Into the beam of an operating laser diode beam, or
(2) Into the end of an optical fiber emitting sufficient energy to cause damage to the eye.
