Division of Workers’ Compensation's EAMS, Web features will be offline Memorial Day weekend

The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) will take its electronic case management system, EAMS, offline during the Memorial Day weekend for a software upgrade. Other components that use EAMS, such as the public information case search tool and EDEX, will also be unavailable.

EAMS will be offline beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 25, and will return to its normal operating hours at 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 29.

During the three-day period, the following will not be available:

The rest of the DWC Web site will remain accessible.

“From time to time we need to update software to keep EAMS running smoothly,” said Mark Fudem, associate chief judge. “When filers come back to work after the holiday weekend, they’ll find a few minor changes in the appearance of EAMS, but otherwise it will be just as it was before.”

EAMS, which stands for Electronic Adjudication Management System, has been DWC’s system of record since its launch Aug. 25, 2008.
