WCIS Relaxes the Sequencing Rules for Submitting SROI Data

Due to trading partner feedback regarding the complexity of submitting Subsequent Reports of Injury (SROI) data, the WCIS has relaxed the sequencing rule that requires a suspension transaction be accepted prior to a reinstatement of benefit transaction. The WCIS will monitor the impact of this change. Trading Partners who receive a rejection on a reinstatement transaction for any other reason should correct the rejection within 15 business days of the benefit reinstatement date.
Two Training Bulletins associated training bulletins are also being released.
