DWC Posts Proposed Changes to WCIS Regulations, EDI Guides for its 2nd 15-Day Comment Period
The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted, for a 15-day comment period, modifications to the Workers’ Compensation Information System (WCIS) regulations and the two California EDI (electronic data interchange) Implementation Guides on its rulemaking page.
The Guides are the California EDI Implementation Guide for First and Subsequent Reports of Injury (FROI/SROI), Version 3.1, and the California EDI Implementation Guide for Medical Bill Payment Records, Version 2.0.
The proposed regulations and the proposed Guide revisions will be available for public comment until 5 p.m. on December 15, 2016.
