Apprentice Prevailing Wage Rates are paid only to apprentices registered with the State of California, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, for work the registered apprentice performs in his/her specific craft or trade. Pension -- Includes an amount equal to 3% of the basic hourly rate which is added to the total hourly rate and overtime hourly rates for the National Employees Benefit Fund. Pursuant to labor code sections 1773.1 and 1773.8 the amount paid for this employer payment may vary resulting in a lower taxable basic hourly wage rate, but the total hourly rates for straight time and overtime may not be less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages.
Other -- Includes an amount of $0.55 for Labor Management Cooperative Trust (LMCT), 1.5% for Contractor Administration Fund (CAF) and $0.01 for National Labor Management Cooperative Fund (NLMCF). Amounts for LMCT and CAF are factored into overtime rates.
**Journeyman Predetermined Increases:
Effective 6/1/2026, there will be an increase of $3.65 to be allocated to wages and/or employer payments.
