GENERAL PREVAILING WAGE APPRENTICE RATES

Apprentice Prevailing Wage Rates are paid only to apprentices registered with the State of California, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, for work the registered apprentice performs in his/her specific craft or trade. FOOTNOTE(S)

On any job where coal tar pitch or coal pitch products are used, all workers shall be paid a premium of $1.50 per hour over the Basic Hourly Rate. This also includes scrape off, tear off and application of liquids containing coal tar pitch.

BHR - Includes amount for Work Assessment Dues that is not factored into overtime (Period 1-2: $1.10. Period 3-5: $1.35. Period 6-7: $1.60).

**Journeyman Predetermined Increases

Effective July 1, 2024, $2.00 increase allocated as follows: $1.50 to Basic Hourly Rate, $0.10 to Health and Welfare, $0.05 to Training, and $0.35 to Pension.

There will be no further increases applicable to this determination .
