Apprentice Prevailing Wage Rates are paid only to apprentices registered with the State of California, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, for work the registered apprentice performs in his/her specific craft or trade. You may check whether an Apprentice is registered at the Division of Apprenticeship Standards Website (https://www.dir.ca.gov/DAS/appcertpw/AppCertSearch.asp)

**Journeyman Predetermined Increases:

Effective October 1, 2023, there will be an increase of $3.25 allocated as follows: $2.50 to Basic Hourly Rate, $0.40 to Pension, $0.25 to Vacation/Holiday, $0.05 to Training, and $0.05 to Other.

Effective October 1, 2024, there will be an increase of $3.25 allocated as follows: $2.50 to Basic Hourly Rate, $0.67 to Pension, and $0.08 to Training.

Effective October 1, 2025, there will be an increase of $3.25 allocated as follows: $2.50 to Basic Hourly Rate, $0.50 to Vacation/Holiday, $0.20 to Training, and $0.05 to Other.
