IMPORTANT NOTICE TO AWARDING BODIES AND ALL INTERESTED PARTIES REGARDING A CORRECTION TO THE DIRECTOR’S GENERAL PREVAILING WAGE DETERMINATIONS
Dear Public Official/Other Interested Parties:
- CRAFT/CLASSIFICATION: Apprentice Parking & Highway Improvement Painter (Striper - Laborer)
- LOCALITY: All localities within Alameda, Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Humboldt, Kings, Lake, Lassen, Madera, Marin, Mariposa, Mendocino, Merced, Modoc, Monterey, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Tulare, and Yuba Counties.
- DETERMINATION: 2021-2
The amount of $3.05 for Vacation/Holiday for Period 1-2 apprentices is incorrect.
The correct amount is $0.91 for Vacation/Holiday.
Therefore, the amounts of $35.47 (Period 1) and $37.19 (Period 2) for Total Hourly Rate are incorrect.
The correct amounts are $33.33 (Period 1) and $35.05 (Period 2) for Total Hourly Rate.
With the exception of the above correction, all of the wage rates, and other conditions found in the above referenced determination remain unchanged.
GENERAL PREVAILING WAGE APPRENTICE RATES
Apprentice Prevailing Wage Rates are paid only to apprentices registered with the State of California, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, for work the registered apprentice performs in his/her specific craft or trade. You may check whether an Apprentice is registered at the Division of Apprenticeship Standards Website (https://www.dir.ca.gov/DAS/appcertpw/AppCertSearch.asp)

JOURNEYMAN PREDETERMINED INCREASES:
Effective June 27, 2022, there will be an increase of $2.33 to be allocated to wages and/or fringes.
