A second advisory meeting will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Harris building 1515 Clay St., in Oakland, 2nd floor meeting room 1. The purpose of the meeting is to continue discussing implementation of AB 1136, the Hospital Patient and Health Care Worker Injury Protection Act from Assembly Bill 1136 including developing a new title 8 section 5120.

An agenda for that meeting along with additional handouts are attached for the purpose of facilitating discussion at this meeting. A revised draft title 8 regulation will be emailed out and posted prior to the meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss implementation of AB 1136, the Hospital Patient and Health Care Worker Injury Protection Act from Assembly Bill 1136.

An agenda for that meeting along with additional handouts are attached for the purpose of facilitating discussion at this meeting. The first is Assembly Bill 1136 and the second is a draft containing the AB 1136 language brought down into a new section 5120 to be added to Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations, which would specifically address safe patient handling in hospitals covered by the new law.
