Article 3. Prehearing Proceedings
§420. Prehearing Conference.
(a) At any time before a hearing, the Standards Board or the hearing officer may,
on its own initiative, or at the request of a party, direct the parties or their
representatives to exchange information or to participate in a pre-hearing conference
for the purpose of considering matters which will tend to simplify the issues
or expedite the proceedings. If a hearing officer has been assigned, the hearing
officer may resolve such requests without the Board's involvement.
(b) The Standards Board or the hearing officer may issue a prehearing order
which includes the agreements reached by the parties. Such order shall be served
on all parties and shall be a part of the record.
