Article 15. Special Access Lifts
§3093.49. Capacity Plate [511.1].
A capacity plate indicating the rated load of the elevator in pounds shall be
fastened in a conspicuous place inside the car. The letters and figures on such
plates shall be not less than 1/4 in. (6.3 mm) in height.
