The Department of Industrial Relations’ Cal/OSHA Advisory Committee, which meets monthly, provides a means for discussing issues related to the Cal/OSHA program. Any interested person is invited to attend. Agenda items must be submitted in writing to John Howard, Chief, Division of Occupational Safety and Health, two weeks in advance of the meeting.

PROPOSED RULEMAKING SCHEDULED FOR UPCOMING PUBLIC HEARINGS
Pursuant to Government Code Section 11346.4 and the provisions of Labor Code Sections 142.1, 142.2, and 142.3, the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board has set the time and place for a Public Hearing. At the Public Hearing, the Board will consider public testimony on the proposed changes noticed below to occupational safety and health regulations in Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations.

After proceedings held in accordance with and pursuant to authority vested in Sections 142, 142.3 and 142.4 of the Labor Code to implement, interpret, or make specific, the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board, by a majority vote, adopted additions, revisions or deletions to the California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Chapter 4, as follows:
Heard at the November 18, 1999, Public Hearing; adopted on February 17, 2000; filed with the Secretary of State on March 31, 2000; and became effective on April 30, 2000.
Heard at the June 17, 1999, Public Hearing; adopted on November 18, 1999; filed with the Secretary of State on April 13, 2000; and will become effective on May 13, 2000.
Heard at the October 21, 1999, Public Hearing; adopted on March 16, 2000; filed with the Secretary of State on April 13, 2000; and will become effective on May 13, 2000.
