PROPOSED PETITION DECISIONS FOR ADOPTION

1. Bradley D. Closson, Executive Vice President, NACB Technical Services, Inc. (Petition No. 441)

Petitioner requested the Board to amend Title 8, California Code of Regulations, Section 4968(d)(1) of the General Industry Safety Orders (GISO) regarding the requirement for limit devices on tower cranes that provide predeceleration of the hook before top and bottom positions are reached.

Dale Auslander, Corp. Secretary, Triumph Sheet Metal, Inc. (Petition File No. 442)

Petitioner requested the Board to amend Title, California Code of Regulations, Construction Safety Orders (CSO), Article 30, Section 1723(a) to include language that would make sheet metal work integral to roof waterproofing systems subject to the requirements of Article 30 including the 20 foot fall protection trigger height.
