John G. Thompson (Petition No. 456) Petitioner requested the Board to amend the California Code of Regulations,
Title 8, to require all freestanding ladders to have: (1) non-slip surfaces
along their upper rails to contact any upper support surface upon which the
ladder will rest, and (2) the sliding section located on the back side of
the ladder so there are not recessed rungs for the user to encounter when
descending the ladder. |
