Proposed rulemaking scheduled for upcoming public hearings

Pursuant to Government Code section 11346.4 and the provisions of Labor Code sections 142.1, 142.2, and 142.3, the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board has set the time and place for a public hearing. At the public hearing, the board will consider public testimony on the proposed changes noticed below to occupational safety and health regulations in Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations.

1. Title 8, Chapter 4, Subchapter 7, General Industry Safety Orders, Article 10, Section 3381, Head Protection.
   
  Heard at the July 15, 2004, Public Hearing; adopted on August 19, 2004; filed with the Secretary of State on September 30, 2004; and will become effective on October 30, 2004.
   
2. Title 8, Chapter 4, Subchapter 7, General Industry Safety Orders, Article 107, Section 5155, Methyl Hydrazine.
   
  Heard at the July 15, 2004, Public Hearing; adopted on August 19, 2004; filed with the Secretary of State on October 1, 2004; and will become effective on October 31, 2004.
   
3. Title 8, Chapter 4, Subchapter 7, General Industry Safety Orders, Article 3, New Section 3241.1, Working Warehouses.
   
  Heard at the December 18, 2003 and June 17, 2004, Public Hearings; adopted on August 19, 2004; filed with the Secretary of State on October 1, 2004; and will become effective on October 31, 2004.
