Proposed rulemaking scheduled for upcoming public
hearings
Pursuant to Government Code Section 11346.4 and the
provisions of Labor Code Sections 142.1, 142.2, and
142.3, the Occupational Safety and Health Standards
Board has set the time and place for a Public Hearing.
At the Public Hearing, the Board will consider public
testimony on the proposed changes noticed below to
occupational safety and health regulations in Title 8 of
the California Code of Regulations.

a majority vote, adopted additions, revisions or deletions to the California
Code or Regulations, Title 8, Chapter 4, as follows:

29, Section 1712, Hazards Associated with Reinforcing Steel and Other Similar
Projections.
Heard at the February 20, 2003, Public Hearing; adopted on December 18,
2003; filed with the Secretary of State on February 3, 2004; and will become
effective on March 4, 2004.
