The Department of Industrial Relations’
Cal/OSHA Advisory Committee, which meets monthly, provides a means for discussing
issues related to the Cal/OSHA program. Any interested person is invited to attend. Agenda items must be submitted in writing to
John Howard, Chief, Division of Occupational Safety and Health, two weeks
in advance of the meeting.

Pursuant to Government Code Section
11346.4 and the provisions of Labor Code Sections 142.1, 142.2, and 142.3,
the Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board has set the time and place
for a Public Hearing. At the Public
Hearing, the Board will consider public testimony on the proposed changes
noticed below to occupational safety and health regulations in Title 8 of
the California Code of Regulations.

4, as follows:

Heard
at the December 14, 2000 Public Hearing; adopted on April 19, 2001; filed
with the Secretary of State on May 7, 2001; and will become effective on June
7, 2001.
