Mr. Daniel Curtin, of Sacramento, chair and public representative, is currently the director of the California Conference of Carpenters where he has served since 1987. Curtin has previously served with the Committee on Political Education for the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO and Frontlash, a youth voter registration and education project for the AFL-CIO.


Ms. Leslee Coleman Guardino, of Los Gatos, employer representative, served as a member of the commission from 2001 to 2005. Guardino is currently a principal in Canyon Snow Consulting, leading the firm's government affairs practice. She previously served as director of worldwide government and community relations for Solectron, executive director of the American Electronics Association and vice president of the Silicon Valley Manufacturing Group.


Mr. Tim Cremins, of Sacramento, employee representative, has served as a member of the commission from 2001 to 2005. Cremins has served as director of education and research for the California-Nevada Conference of Operating Engineers since 1995. He was previously with the State Building and Construction Trades Council, AFL-CIO, Sacramento from 1983 to 1995.


Mr. Harold A. Rose, of Santa Rosa, employee representative, is a retired annuitant with the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, a position he has held since 1998. Previously, he worked 35 years with the California Department of Forestry (CDF). During his tenure with CDF, Mr. Rose was a firefighter, an engineer, and a captain. From 1991 to 1994, he served as an elected statewide rank and file representative for the CDF firefighters. Mr. Rose belongs to the California State Employees’ Association and the California Department of Forestry Firefighters.


Mr. Willie Washington, of Sacramento, employer representative, currently serves as a consultant on workplace issues for the California Manufacturers and Technology Association. Washington previously served as the director of human resources, safety and health, and workers' compensation for the California Manufacturers and Technology Association from 1987 to 2005. Prior to that, he was a regional manager of human resources for Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel and served for 22 years as a member of the United States Air Force.
