Workers' compensation regulations governing medical provider networks approved by OAL and effective November 1

On Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved emergency regulations for the medical provider networks and filed the regulations with the Secretary of State. The regulations have an effective date of Nov. 1, 2004.

The regulations as filed with Secretary of State can be found on the DWC Web site at: http://www.dir.ca.gov/dwc/dwcpropregs/MPNreg.htm. Some clarifying changes were made to the version of the regulations that were originally submitted to OAL.
