Division of Workers’ Compensation posts updated fact sheets for injured workers
The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted a series of updated fact sheets for injured workers on its Web site. The updated fact sheets provide injured workers with answers to frequently asked questions about issues affecting their benefits.
“Workers’ compensation disputes can be complicated,” said DWC acting Administrative Director Carrie Nevans. “The fact sheets are made available to help resolve problems and avoid misunderstanding and mistakes between parties.”
The fact sheets about temporary disability benefits, permanent disability benefits, qualified medical evaluators, are available to employers and insurers who are required to comply with benefit notice regulations.
The updated fact sheets are available for immediate use in English and Spanish and can be found at http://www.dir.ca.gov/dwc/iwguides.html.
