Division of Workers' Compensation posts disability accommodation regulations to online forum for public comment
The Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) has drafted regulations for providing disability accommodations to the public and posted them to the online forum where members of the public may review and comment on the proposal. Disability accommodation regulations are required under California Government Code section 11138 to implement section 11135’s anti-discrimination provisions for individuals with disabilities when a state agency provides services, programs and activities to the public.
The proposed regulations are sections 9708.1 through 9708.6 of the administrative director’s rules and sections 10226.1 through 10226.6 of the court administrator’s rules in Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations.
