Official medical fee schedule adjustments to the pathology and clinical laboratory section conforming to the Medicare payment system changes are posted

The Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) has posted an adjustment to the pathology and clinical laboratory section of the official medical fee schedule (OMFS) to conform to changes in the Medicare payment system, as required by labor code section 5307.1.

The changes become effective Jan. 1, 2009.

The order adopting the adjustments can be found on the DWC’s Web site at: http://www.dir.ca.gov/DWC/OMFS9904.htm.
