The Office of Administrative Law approves the Division of Workers’ Compensation’s request to change section numbers of current regulations
The Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved the Division of Workers’ Compensation’s request to change section numbers of current regulations in order to accommodate new court administrator regulations, and to allow the DWC to eventually have all related rehabilitation and return to work regulations in consecutive order.
The division requested that the OAL allow it to renumber its current claim form regulations, expedited hearing regulations, and section 5814 penalty regulations.
The division’s request qualifies under Title 1, California Code of Regulations (CCR), section 100, as changes that do not materially alter any requirement, right, responsibility, condition, prescription, or other regulatory element of any provision of the CCR because the proposed changes pertain only to renumbering.
The changes are effective April 7, 2008.
