Division of Workers' Compensation seeks proposals for updating physician fee schedule | |
The Department of Industrial Relations, Division
of Workers' Compensation (DWC) intends to revise its workers' compensation physician
fee schedule to incorporate the methodology used in the Resource-Based Relative
Value Scale (RBRVS), which is maintained by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
Services (CMS) in its Medicare Fee Schedule. The department seeks to hire a contractor
to analyze data and develop policy options that may serve as a basis for the revision.
A request for proposals for an RBRVS study (DIR/DWC RFP #06-002) has been
posted at http://www.cscr.dgs.ca.gov/cscr/.
