Independent medical review regulations certificate of compliance filed with OAL

The final statement of reasons and the final independent medical review regulations were filed on Apr. 29, 2005 with the state Office of Administrative Law (OAL) and posted to the DWC Web site. Some non-substantive changes were made to the regulations subsequent to the 15-day comment period.

The regulations, following approval by OAL, will be effective upon filing with the Secretary of State. The final statement of reasons and the final text of the regulations can be found at: http://www.dir.ca.gov/dwc/dwcpropregs/IMRRegs.htm.
