WCIS advisory meeting and California EDI training update
As mentioned in WCIS eNews 76, California-specific EDI training is currently being organized by the California Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) and the IAIABC. The training will be held in conjunction with the annual WCIS advisory meeting and is set for June 21-22, 2010 in Van Nuys, California and June 23-24 in Oakland, California. The agenda for the advisory meeting is attached.
The California EDI training will feature two courses:
EDI Claims: Learn how to submit workers' compensation FROIs and SROIs to the California Division of Workers' Compensation Information System using the IAIABC Claims Release 1 standard.
EDI Medical: Learn how to submit workers’ compensation medical bills to the California Division of Workers’ Compensation using the IAIABC Medical Bill reporting standard.
