Annual WCIS advisory committee meeting

The DWC's annual WCIS advisory committee meeting will be held on June 1, 2009 in Oakland, California. The DWC encourages participation by all interested stakeholders.

An updated meeting agenda, which now includes an afternoon question and answer session, is attached for your information.  If you have specific questions, issues or scenarios that you would like to discuss in the afternoon session, please submit them by May 27, 2009 to Martha Jones at mjones@dir.ca.gov

Materials that will be reviewed at the meeting, such as the draft versions of the new California FROI/SROI and medical EDI implementation guides and updated FROI/SROI frequently asked questions (FAQ), have been posted to the WCIS website.  A list of the major changes to the guides can be found in Appendix A of each draft guide.  You can view and download these documents by going to http://www.dir.ca.gov/DWC/WCIS.htm and then scrolling to “WCIS Advisory Committee Meeting”.   

A teleconference option has been added for this meeting.  The phone number for the teleconference will be provided to those who wish to participate by phone.  Please reply to this email to let us know if anyone from your organization will be able to attend the June meeting or if anyone is interested in participating via teleconference.
