WCIS advisory meeting and California-specific EDI training
In response to requests from trading partners, EDI training specific to California is currently being organized. This training would be held in conjunction with the annual WCIS advisory meeting. The annual WCIS Advisory Meeting is set for Monday, June 9, 2008 in San Francisco.
We are sending out this e-news to get an estimate of the number of claim administrators interested in attending the WCIS meeting and/or EDI training. The EDI training will only be offered if there are enough participants to make it cost effective.
The EDI training will be sponsored by the IAIABC and the California Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC). Training will be provided by IAIABC trainers and supplemented by the WCIS EDI team. The proposed dates are June 9-11, 2008 in San Francisco at the Milton Marks Conference Center, 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102-3688.
If you plan to participate, please complete the training questionnaire and submit your response via e-mail to wcis@dir.ca.gov by April 17, 2008.
