Final WCIS regulations

The final WCIS regulations were approved on Mar. 22, 2006. They can be viewed at http://www.dir.ca.gov/dwc/DWCPropRegs/WCIS_Regulations/WCIS_regulations.htm. Medical bill payment data reporting will become mandatory on Sep. 22, 2006.

WCIS medical data training conference

The second WCIS Medical Data Training Conference will be held on Apr. 27-28, 2006 in Oakland. The training conference is free and registration information can be found on the WCIS Webpage at http://www.dir.ca.gov/DWC/WCIS.htm. Please let us know if you plan to attend by emailing a completed registration form to wcis@dir.ca.gov or faxing it to 510-286-6862.

WCIS advisory committee meeting

The annual WCIS Advisory Committee meeting will be held on May 22, 2006 in Oakland. The agenda and meeting materials will be posted shortly to the WCIS webpage. Please let us know if you plan to attend by emailing wcis@dir.ca.gov.
